On Wednesday night, the
Old Guard with some allies broke through the front gates of
Hellfire Citadel and was met with the
Hellfire Assault lead by
Siegemaster Mar'tak and her band of assault cronies. Leaving her in a state worse than that of Officer Murphy in the opening scene of Robocop, she ran off and allowed us to defeat her remaining forces, bringing the
Old Guard our first mythic victory in
Hellfire Citadel.
Unfortunately, similar to Officer Murphy,
Siegemaster Mar'tak returned with a vengeance in her very own suit of technology, the
Iron Reaver... Dead or alive, she was coming for us! Carrying more weapons than the ED-209, the
Old Guard managed to use their superb skills to avoid her barrages and blitzes while defusing her bombs to bring the
Iron Reaver to the ground permanently!
This kill brings the
Old Guard to 2/13 in
Mythic Hellfire Citadel and allows us to become honorary SWAT team members for the Detroit Police Department.
